We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or phone number (unless you contact support)
- Location data or GPS coordinates
- Photos, videos, or other media files
- Contact lists or address book information
- Financial or payment information
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
3.1 Core App Functionality
- Providing alarm services and scheduling notifications
- Providing timer and stopwatch functionality with Live Activities support
- Storing your alarm settings, timer settings, stopwatch data, world clock selections, and app preferences
(locally on your device)
- Sending local notifications for alarms (requires notification permission)
- Displaying real-time timer and stopwatch information on Lock Screen and Dynamic Island via Live
Activities
- Maintaining app functionality and performance
🔔 Notification Permissions
Required for App Function: We request notification permissions to deliver alarm
notifications. This is essential for the app to function as an alarm clock. Notification permissions are
requested before any analytics consent and are necessary for core app functionality.
⏰ AlarmKit Access (iOS 26+)
System-Level Alarm Permissions: On devices running iOS 26 or later, our app uses Apple's
AlarmKit framework to schedule alarms that can ring even when your device is locked or in silent mode.
This requires system-level alarm permissions.
What We Use AlarmKit For: We use AlarmKit solely to provide reliable alarm
functionality. AlarmKit allows alarms to trigger reliably across various device states, ensuring you
never miss an alarm.
Data Privacy: We do not access or store any personal data through AlarmKit permissions.
All alarm schedules and settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us or any
third parties. AlarmKit permissions are used exclusively for alarm functionality and do not grant us
access to any other device data or personal information.
3.2 iOS System Features
Our app uses the following iOS system features to enhance your experience:
- AlarmKit: We use Apple's AlarmKit framework to schedule and manage alarms. AlarmKit
allows alarms to ring even when your device is locked, ensuring you never miss an alarm. Alarm data
(times, schedules, preferences) is stored locally on your device and managed by the iOS system.
- Live Activities: We use Live Activities to display real-time information on your Lock
Screen and Dynamic Island. For timers and stopwatch, Live Activities show countdown times and elapsed
time. This information is displayed locally and is not transmitted to our servers or third parties.
- Dynamic Island: On supported devices, we display timer and stopwatch information in the
Dynamic Island. This provides quick access to timing information without opening the app. All data
displayed in the Dynamic Island is processed locally on your device.
🔒 Privacy and System Features
Local Processing Only: All data used by AlarmKit, Live Activities, and Dynamic Island is
processed and stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share any information
displayed through these features. These iOS system features enhance app functionality but do not involve
additional data collection beyond what is already described in this privacy policy.
User Control: You can control Live Activities and Dynamic Island visibility through your
device settings. You can also disable these features for our app in Settings → Alibi Wake Up →
Live Activities.

- Identifying and fixing bugs and performance issues
- Developing new features based on user needs
3.4 Legal Compliance
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations
- Responding to legal requests and court orders
- Protecting our rights and preventing fraud
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Firebase Services
Our App uses Google Firebase services for analytics and crash reporting:
- Firebase Analytics: Provides insights into app usage and performance
- Firebase Crashlytics: Helps us identify and fix app crashes
Firebase Data Collection: Firebase may collect device information, IP addresses, and
usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can learn more about Firebase's data practices
at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
4.2 Google AdMob
Our App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements:
- Banner Ads: Displayed at the bottom of the app screen
- Interstitial Ads: Full-screen ads shown periodically during app usage
AdMob Data Collection: AdMob may collect device information, advertising identifiers
(IDFA), IP addresses, and usage data to provide personalized ads and measure ad performance. This data
collection is handled by Google AdMob according to their Privacy Policy. You can learn more about
AdMob's data practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
4.3 Apple StoreKit (In-App Purchases)
Our App uses Apple's StoreKit framework to process premium subscription purchases:
- Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Apple's App Store. We
do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information or credit card details.
- Transaction Data: Purchase transactions are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's
Privacy Policy. You can learn more about Apple's data practices at https://www.apple.com/privacy/.
- Premium Status: We store your premium subscription status locally on your device to
enable premium features. This information is stored locally and is not transmitted to our servers.
- Subscription Management: Subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds are managed
through Apple's App Store. You can manage your subscriptions in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
4.4 App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
Our App uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework to request your permission before tracking your
activity across other companies' apps and websites:
- What is ATT: ATT is Apple's privacy feature that requires apps to ask for your
permission before tracking you across apps and websites owned by other companies
- When We Ask: You'll see a system prompt asking for tracking permission when you first
launch the app
- What We Track (if you allow): App usage data, purchase events, and interactions to
measure advertising effectiveness and improve our services
- Your Choice: You can choose "Allow" or "Ask App Not to Track" when prompted
🔒 Your Control Over Tracking
Allow Tracking: If you tap "Allow," we can send data to Meta (Facebook) for advertising
optimization and analytics. This helps us measure ad effectiveness and improve the app.
Ask App Not to Track: If you tap "Ask App Not to Track," we will NOT send any data to
Meta (Facebook). The app will continue to function normally, but ads may be less relevant to you.
Change Anytime: You can change your tracking permission at any time in Settings →
Privacy & Security → Tracking → Alibi Wake Up
4.5 Meta (Facebook) Purchase Tracking
Our App uses Meta's Conversions API to track anonymous purchase events for advertising optimization:
- What We Track: Purchase events, transaction amounts, product types, and timestamps
- Anonymous Identifiers: Hashed transaction IDs (SHA-256) that cannot be linked to your
identity
- Device Information: IP address and user agent string
🔒 Privacy Protection
No Personal Information: We do not send your name, email, phone number, or any
personally identifiable information to Meta. All tracking is anonymous and server-side only.
ATT Requirement: We only send purchase data to Meta if you have granted tracking
permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you deny tracking, no purchase data is sent
to Meta.
Your Control: You can disable tracking at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security →
Tracking. Disabling tracking will immediately stop all purchase tracking to Meta.
Meta's Privacy Policy: Learn more at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
4.6 Facebook SDK (App Events)
Our App uses Facebook SDK to track basic app events for advertising optimization and analytics:
- What We Track: App install events, app launch events, and basic app interactions
- Device Information: Device model, iOS version, and user agent string
- No Personal Information: We do not collect or send your name, email, phone number, or
any personally identifiable information through Facebook SDK
🔒 ATT Requirement for Tracking
Tracking Permission Required: We only send app events to Facebook if you have granted
tracking permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you deny tracking, no app events
are sent to Facebook.
What This Means: Facebook SDK tracks basic app usage (installs, launches) to help us
measure advertising effectiveness and improve our campaigns. This is different from our Meta Conversions
API which only tracks purchases server-side.
Your Control: You can disable tracking at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security →
Tracking. Disabling tracking will immediately stop all event tracking to Facebook.
Facebook's Privacy Policy: Learn more at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
